How to thread an Eyepin

A short project leading on from 'How to thread an Eyepin'. This will demonstrate how to use

your Eyepin and how to thread it, using a selection of precious and non-precious beads,

all from stock.

STEP 1

Place the eye of the pin between your fingers, leaving the other end free.

STEP 2

Select your small beads, we have used 3mm 2 hole silver beads. Thread one

of these beads onto the pin.

STEP 3

Select your non-precious beads, we have used a 6mm purple foil bead.

Thread on top of your silver bead. Then repeat Step 2.

STEP 4

Once this has been done, you will notice that there is still a lot of wire left, this will need to be cut down. Measure approximately 1cm from the last threaded silver bead.

STEP 5

Using your Side Cutters, cut the excess wire off leaving the 1cm length.

STEP 6

Using your Round Nose Pliers, grip the end and bend inwards, making sure both 'eyes' face the same direction.

COMPLETE!

You should now have a finished element that can be used on earrings, pendants and bracelets.
